ASSBUTTS LURKING

Jensen Ackles, 2012 Upfronts.

Cas through the ages.

I’m going to shed some insight on season 7 of Supernatural.

I am going to be very blunt, and possibly rude, if those two attributes make you uncomfortable, I suggest you skip through this poorly written rant.

Alright, first, let’s tackle tonight’s episode. I liked it. I loved certain aspects of it, but overall, it wasn’t the best episode I’ve seen, or one that barely scratches the surface of the ‘real’ plot.

I loved the Castiel bits and pieces, I love Sam’s heart to heart with Cas, not to mention, I’m loving the chemistry between Meg and Cas. That being said…. the episode was otherwise bland.

I barely kept my eyes open. I was bored.

Something that’s been happening a lot during the past few years. People might say that I’m growing out of the show, the fandom, the people, maybe even tumblr, but I disagree.

I’m not growing out of the show at all. If anything, I’m clinging to the show it used to be. The show that made my heart weep, the show that made me sit on the edge of my seat threatening to pull what’s left of my hair out.

It’s not that show anymore.

Sure, we’ve had a few good episodes, but— that’s not enough. I want a WHOLE season worth of good episodes. I haven’t felt the passion of the show since Swan Song. It’s not there anymore.

I love the show with all my heart, but— it’s not the same anymore.

It takes them ages to reveal the plot, and when they do, it’s rushed, dramatized, and like always, there are HUGE gaping plot holes.

I’m not saying Sera is a bad show-runner… I’m just saying that what I’ve been watching for the past two years ain’t Supernatural. There’s something off about it. I don’t expect the characters to stay the same, or the plot not to change, but it’s not Supernatural.

I just don’t see it.

I don’t know. Maybe I’m one of those picky fans who don’t like anything. Or maybe I’m one of the many voices who feel like they’re watching Supernatural because they’re ‘supposed’ to.

Hell, even if the upcoming seasons get worse, I’ll continue to watch it, because I’m loyal to the show, but that doesn’t mean I’m any less disappointed.

There are so many things they could do with the show. So many. I just wished Kripke stayed.

=/ I’m sorry if I offended anyone tonight.

Please bring Bela back for ONE episode in season eight.

We’ve all fought about our favorite characters on Supernatural. We’ve made countless petitions and saved characters who were probably going to be written off, but when was the last time anyone has ever seen someone fighting for one of the most amazing female character that Supernatural’s ever had?

Bela.

I know most of the fandom dislike her, but she was a brilliant character, no matter which way you analyze it. She was the one woman who did not fawn over the brothers, she had a backbone, and she was incredibly intelligent.

Jo and Ellen were brought back for future episodes, why not Bela? We are a very outspoken fandom. Yes, that is troubling at times, but we get shit done.

Instead of fighting for characters that WE KNOW are gonna stay, why not fight to bring one back? Just for ONE episode.

It’s all I ask.

Bela Talbot in one more fantastic episode of Supernatural. I personally don’t care how she comes back, or what she is, or what role she has to play. All I want to see in my television screen is Bela Talbot. Please fandom!

Time and time again we’ve proven ourselves. Why not one more time? If Vampire Diaries can bring Rose back for one episode, why not Supernatural?

Reblog if you want Bela back!
