ASSBUTTS LURKING

Anonymous asked: How do you feel about Dean and Cas after watching last night's episode?

To be honest, I feel little about Dean and Cas to begin with. I love their friendship, and like I’ve repeatedly said time and time again, I am not overly emotional about it.

Personally, when I saw Dean last night, he was nothing but a dick to Castiel. A self-destructive dick who only wants to use Cas for his powers, and no matter what Cas did, he doesn’t deserve that.

Especially not after what he did for Sam. Dean should at least offer him a polite thank you. Castiel said sorry time and time again, and at this point, I just feel bad for Cas, because I feel that this friendship is very one-sided.

Actually, in my eyes, their friendship has been one-sided from the jump. Dean’s done nothing but use Cas time and time again. And yes, Cas isn’t exactly innocent, but I don’t have any feelings for a hostile relationship such as Dean/Cas.

What I do love… about last night was the bits and pieces of Sam/Cas we got to see. Now, I’m not speaking as a shipper, I’m speaking as a fan who’s watching the show for what it is.

Time and time again, it’s SAM who’s shown Castiel sympathy. SAM, who understands what Cas is going through, SAM who wants to close the distance between them and make him whole again, ITS SAM THAT GIVES A SHIT ABOUT CASTIEL GETTING BETTER.

I’m sure Dean would want Cas to get better too, but that’s only because he wants Cas to help them beat the leviathans. Sam genuinely wants to see his friend whole again. It doesn’t matter if Castiel has a ‘profound bond’ with Dean, or the fact that mostly everyone he meets prefers his older brother than him, he goes out of his way to give a shit about people anyway. Because that’s who he is. He’s so compassionate, and it breaks my heart when time and time again I see Sam hate floating around.

Anyway, off-topic, sorry. Uhm. To plainly answer your question. I don’t feel much of anything.

As for the Sam and Cas friendship…. I honestly want to see it develop.
